Biography:

Climbing is as much a mental and emotional journey as it is a physical one. I help climbers build confidence, navigate fear, overcome mental and emotional blocks, and develop the skills that allow them to perform at their best. Whether you're working through performance anxiety, struggling with self-doubt, feeling stuck, or simply wanting to enjoy climbing more fully, I'm here to help you strengthen your mental and emotional game.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor–Mental Health Therapist (LPC-MH) and Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) with 25 years of experience in private practice. Approximately 15 years ago, I expanded my work to include mental and emotional performance coaching for all levels of athletes, helping them strengthen the psychological skills that support optimal performance. My background also includes 7 years of experience as a personal trainer and CrossFit coach, providing me with a unique understanding of the connection between physical training, mental resilience, and emotional well-being.

Together, we build confidence, resilience, focus, and a more fulfilling relationship with climbing.

Sessions available in-office or via telehealth.

Coaching Philosophy:

Sometimes the hardest part of climbing isn't the wall in front of you, but what's happening within you. Fear, self-doubt, and the pressure to perform can keep you from experiencing the freedom and joy that drew you to climbing in the first place. My philosophy is that your mental and emotional strength deserves the same attention as your physical strength. Together, we work to quiet the inner critic, build self-trust, and help you discover that your greatest breakthroughs often begin within. The goal isn't only to climb stronger, but to climb more freely.

“Being able to recognize new strengths within myself each day through self-reflections, breathing, working through becoming a more mindful athlete and pushing myself through uncomfortable from the inside has changed everything for me.” Taylor Williams

“This has been life changing working with you. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have really enjoyed this process. I’m so thankful how easy you have made this with all the practical tools to practice these internal skills. I have never had luck with stuff like this. You are very good at what you do.” Amanda Wright
